DOUBLE EIGHT warranty

This limited warranty covers any defects in material or workmanship in new DOUBLE EIGHT eyewear products purchased by customers in Argentina from double8ight.com. It does not cover certain things, so please read this limited warranty carefully.

This limited warranty extends only to the original consumer purchaser (hereinafter, "you" or "your") and is not assignable or transferable to anyone else. If you purchased your DOUBLE EIGHT product online from Billian SRL. (hereinafter, "Billian," "we," "us," or "our"), you may obtain coverage under this limited warranty. If you purchased the DOUBLE EIGHT product elsewhere, this limited warranty does not apply.

WHAT DOES THIS WARRANTY NOT COVER?

This limited warranty does not cover any problems caused by (i) commercial use, (ii) normal wear and tear, or (iii) misuse, accident (including but not limited to collisions, fire, and food or liquid spills), neglect, abuse, alteration, unusual stress, modification, improper or unauthorized repair, or improper storage. This limited warranty is voided if a product is returned without labels, damaged or tampered with, or with any alterations. DOUBLE EIGHT DOES NOT WARRANTY AGAINST ANY SCRATCHED, FRACTURED, OR BROKEN LENSES. In addition, consequential, indirect, and incidental damages are not recoverable under this warranty.

HOW LONG DOES THE COVERAGE LAST?

The warranty period is one (1) year from the documented date of purchase.

WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO DO?

DOUBLE EIGHT will provide warranty coverage if your warranty claim meets all the terms of this limited warranty and you follow the return procedure below. If you do not follow the return procedure, you will not be able to obtain warranty coverage.

To obtain warranty service for DOUBLE EIGHT eyewear products purchased from double8ight.com, please call us at or email us at doubleeight.co@gmail.com to obtain a Return Material Authorization ("RMA") and a prepaid return shipping label.

If your claim is covered by this limited warranty, DOUBLE EIGHT will pay the cost of shipping the product back to you once warranty service is completed.

Any product returned to DOUBLE EIGHT without a valid warranty claim, without an RMA, or without proof of purchase may be refused, returned to you at your expense, or held for a period of 30 days. If after 30 days you have not paid the cost of return shipping, DOUBLE EIGHT may dispose of your product at its sole discretion after notifying you by phone or email that it intends to do so and providing you with one final opportunity to make arrangements for return shipment. By sending a product for warranty service or replacement, you agree to transfer ownership of the original product to DOUBLE EIGHT at the time it arrives at our warehouse if DOUBLE EIGHT determines that replacement is appropriate.

WHAT WILL DOUBLE EIGHT DO?

If DOUBLE EIGHT authorizes you to return your product to DOUBLE EIGHT and your claim is covered by this limited warranty, DOUBLE EIGHT will decide whether to repair or replace the defective product. If your product is to be replaced, DOUBLE EIGHT will decide whether to replace it with a new or remanufactured product. If DOUBLE EIGHT, in its sole discretion, determines that it is not reasonable to replace the defective product, DOUBLE EIGHT may refund the purchase price you paid for the product. Repaired or replaced products are covered for the remainder of the original product warranty or 90 days, whichever is longer.

If your DOUBLE EIGHT eyewear product does not qualify for warranty service under this limited warranty or you are unable to provide proof of purchase, you may still have it repaired by DOUBLE EIGHT, but charges may apply. Please call or email doubleeight.co@gmail.com for more information.

Our collection of four meticulously crafted models, each available in three distinct colors, captured the essence of two iconic cities: London and Manhattan. Limited to just 25 pieces per model, these frames were inspired by the most prestigious locations in the world, epitomizing the pinnacle of luxury and exclusivity.

    Double Eight also expanded its presence with state-of-the-art offices in Buenos Aires and Manhattan. These dynamic spaces served as hubs of innovation and creativity, reflecting the brand’s commitment to elegance and excellence. In Buenos Aires, our office captured the vibrant energy of the city, fostering collaboration and inspiration among our team members. Meanwhile, our Manhattan office exudes sophistication, reflecting the iconic skyline and bustling streets below.

    In 2023, in addition to our stylish offices, Double Eight partnered with Choptical Factory for the production of our eyewear. Located at the heart of eyewear craftsmanship, Choptical Factory brought decades of experience, ensuring the impeccable quality and precision of each frame. This collaboration allowed us to maintain our commitment to excellence while exploring new boundaries in design innovation.

    As a brand, our mission went beyond creating exclusive eyewear. We set out to promote and scale the concept of quiet luxury, emphasizing elegance and quality over ostentatious logos. This approach resonated with our discerning clientele, who sought sophistication without the need for overt branding. By adhering to our values and focusing on timeless design, we continue to raise the bar for luxury eyewear in 2023 and beyond.
